Do you have wooden furniture at home? Then you need a dehumidifier

It can be said that almost every household has wooden furniture. Wooden tables, wooden chairs, wooden wardrobes...must be part of the home improvement. However, many people will also find that these wooden furniture, after a few years, will always be moldy. Ordinary wooden tables and chairs are good, easy to replace, and the economic loss is relatively good, but like expensive mahogany furniture, once it gets damp and moldy, it is very distressing. In addition, if you want to decorate wooden ceilings, doors and windows, if moldy and deterioration occur, the repair and replacement process is also very troublesome.

So in daily life, how to maintain wooden furniture (especially expensive solid wood furniture)?

1. Wipe frequently:

Dirt and dust need to be cleaned off in time. Do not use dry rags to wipe vigorously when wiping, and do not use chemical solvents and liquids with strong acid and alkalinity, so as not to damage the surface. Just use clean water to wipe, if you feel that the clean water is not clean, then use tea to remove it.

2. Protect the paint:

The paint of the furniture table has two functions, one is beautiful, the other is anti-corrosion, so do not use rough and sharp objects during normal use, it will easily cause the paint to peel off, or even directly scratch the furniture itself. If it is professionally customized, you can make a request to apply a layer of light wax after the furniture is painted, so that the painted surface can be well protected.

3. Do not place hot things:

High temperature will destroy the paint, cause color change or even peeling, which will destroy the aesthetics of the furniture. Therefore, do not directly put the teapot with hot water on the furniture paint surface. You need to pad other things on it.

4. The most important thing is to prevent moisture:

For the southern region, every year during the rainy season, when returning to the southern sky... the home will be very humid, the floor and walls are constantly dripping water, and the wooden furniture is exposed to moist air, and it is easy to get damp and moldy. Stored in a high-humidity environment, damp wooden furniture will not only cause moldy and mushroom growth, but also cause deformation of the furniture, and the wooden structure is brittle and fragile. Therefore, families in southern areas must do a good job of moisture-proof work.
