Can a ceiling-mounted dehumidifier be embedded in the wall?

The ceiling dehumidifier can be hung on the wall as a shelf, but it is not recommended to be embedded in the wall.

  1. The dehumidifier needs to dissipate heat. If the dehumidifier is surrounded by walls, it cannot dissipate heat in time. In this way, the internal temperature of the machine is easy to be too high, some parts are damaged, and the machine is prone to failure.

2. If it is embedded in the wall, both the air inlet and air outlet of the dehumidifier need air ducts, and the cost is high.

3. The dehumidifier is embedded in the wall, which is not conducive to later maintenance. When a machine breaks down, repairs and disassembly are troublesome.

If the indoor space is limited and aesthetics are pursued, it is recommended to hang the machine on the top, separate it from the ceiling, and then connect the air inlet and outlet to the air duct.

If it must be embedded in the wall, consider the above issues in advance and reserve enough space for cooling and maintenance for the dehumidifier.
