1. Look at the area used
First, estimate the corresponding dehumidification amount according to the main room area where the dehumidifier needs to be used. Generally, it can be estimated as 0.6 dehumidification amount per square meter per day. And the detailed parameters of the dehumidifier also have a reference to the use area. Of course, it also depends on the actual situation of the specific space used, such as the pattern of the space, the degree of openness, the intensity of sunlight, ventilation, the number of people and so on. If the space used is connected with other places, or the space with strong sunlight should purchase a dehumidifier with a larger cooling capacity.
2. Look at the place of use
Different use sites determine the size of the water tank. The space used by household dehumidifiers is generally the bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom is very convenient for drainage, and now the dehumidifiers are provided with hoses. The kitchen can put the dehumidifier on the countertop and drainage is not a big problem. However, there is no water in the bedroom and living room. If this is the main use space, you must choose a large-capacity water tank, so that the dehumidifier can continue to work when the water is full in the middle of the night.
Third, look at the price budget
The difference between the compressor and the humidity sensor module of the dehumidifier causes the price difference. Although I resist Japanese goods a little bit, there are still good things from Japanese goods. The best compressors are usually Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, etc. Humidity sensor modules are better in Japan, such as Shinei, Hokuriku, etc. If the budget is sufficient to choose a good compressor and humidity sensor module, not only the service life is longer but also the humidity control is better.
4. Look at other functions
In addition to the main functions, some dehumidifiers also have some additional functions, such as negative ions, ozone, dust removal, etc., which can be purchased according to needs. If you are sensitive to noise, if you want to use a dehumidifier in the bedroom 24 hours a day, choose an ultra-quiet machine; if you are sensitive to air, you can choose a dehumidifier with negative ion function or dust removal function.
