The Uses of dehumidifiers

A dehumidifier works by removing damp moisture and making the air dry. Electronic products, optical instruments, precision equipment, high-grade clothing, leather, paper, seeds and other items are moisture-proof and mildew-proof; patients with rheumatism, respiratory diseases and other diseases, as well as the elderly, mothers and infants all need a suitable humidity environment. Therefore, dehumidifiers are used in homes, offices, archives, materials, and libraries. Computer rooms. Precision instrument rooms, hospitals, valuables warehouses, and other places.

※Structure and dehumidification principle of dehumidifier

The dehumidifier is composed of a compressor, heat exchanger, fan, water container, casing and controller. Its working principle is: the fan draws moist air into the machine, condenses into ice through the heat exchanger, and the dry air is discharged out of the machine. The circulation of air in this way reduces the indoor temperature.

※Control method of dehumidifier

There are two control methods for the dehumidifier;

A mechanical control method (operated by buttons) can automatically control humidity and defrosting temperature, but it is not accurate and stable (especially automatic defrosting), and there is no independent air cleaning and other functions, so it is relatively backward.

B. Microcomputer control mode (operated by light-touch buttons) can fully automatically and accurately sense humidity and defrosting temperature, comprehensively control various functions of the machine, with stable performance, high efficiency and independent air cleaning and other functions, so compared advanced.

Like other electrical products, microcomputer-controlled dehumidifiers lead the market's consumption trend, but because of the high cost of computer-controlled products and higher prices, there are still some low-consumption users of mechanical dehumidifiers. With the development of the market, mechanical dehumidifiers will gradually be phased out.

※Environmental protection design and application of refrigerant

According to the stipulations of the Montreal Protocol: The specific Freon (CFC) that destroys the ozone layer and harms the earth's environment was banned worldwide before 2000. After the continuous efforts of the scientific community, the extremely environmentally friendly and energy-saving design of the refrigeration system using HFC134a, a 100% CFC-free new refrigerant, has been applied to dehumidifiers. In the "encircled. Healthy" consumption trend, CFCR22 refrigerant dehumidifiers Future maintenance will bring certain difficulties.

※The heat exchanger of the dehumidifier

The heat exchanger is a critical component of a dehumidifier and is related to the performance and efficiency of the machine. There are two types of heat exchangers: single row type and fin type. The fin type has better performance, higher efficiency and longer life than the single row type, but the cost is more expensive.

The single-row heat exchanger is made of aluminum tubes, the aluminum tubes are exposed, and the water droplets cannot stay on the aluminum tubes, and will soon drip into the water tank, so it is easy to cause the illusion of "fast water output and good dehumidification" when the machine is turned on. Running, the dripping stopped quickly.

The finned heat exchanger is made of aluminum sheets and connected by copper pipes. The contact surface of the aluminum sheets is large. The water droplets will only start to drip after the aluminum sheets are covered. Illusion, but after downtime, dripping still persists for a while.

A.B type design and operating temperature of dehumidifier

The operating environment of the dehumidifier with type A design is in the range of 15℃~35℃, and the operating environment of the dehumidifier with type B design is in the range of 5℃~38℃. When the ambient temperature is lower than 15°C, the heat exchanger of the A-type dehumidifier freezes, and the compressor stops running and cannot be used. The B-type dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic defrosting device, so it can automatically remove the frost on the heat exchanger when the ambient temperature reaches 5°C to 15°C, so that the machine can be used in a humid and cold environment.

There are two types of automatic defrosting devices for dehumidifiers: computer control and mechanical control:

A Mechanical temperature control defrosting device: The temperature controller using metal memory chip cannot accurately control the defrosting temperature, so the defrosting performance is not stable enough. It often occurs that some machines can operate normally at about 8 ℃, while others do not. In the case of frost and shutdown at about 13°C, this defrosting device is not very accurate and reliable.

B. Computer-controlled automatic defrosting device: It adopts advanced computer control technology. Accurately senses the defrosting temperature to ensure that the machine can still operate and dehumidify normally in an environment as low as 5 °C. It is the most advanced and reliable automatic defrosting device. The machine has the ability to work "all-weather".

Remarks: Some A-type dehumidifiers install relays on the machine, stop the compressor regularly (the electric fan keeps running continuously) and wait for the frost on the heat exchanger to melt before starting to run. This so-called "timed defrosting" "It's not actually an automatic defrost, it's just a timer switch.
